Each removal is issued and retired in the public registry of Puro.earth, providing clear proof that the CO₂ removal is real, traceable, and claimed only once.

When is my carbon removal completed?

The carbon removal you purchase has already been physically removed by certified projects. Your purchase secures the selected amount for you, and we retire the corresponding CO₂ Removal Certificate (CORC) in the public registry of Puro.earth once purchases add up to a full tonne.

Your carbon removal will be retired and completed within one month of purchase, and you receive a confirmation email with a link to the public registry record as soon as it’s done.
