We have retired 33 tons of CO₂ removal on behalf of our customers since our launch in November, 2025. (as of 21st April, 2026)

The CO₂ has been physically locked away from the atmosphere and durably stored as biochar for centuries - and is not contributing to global warming anymore.

For full transparency, this page tracks all the carbon removal retirements Remove Carbon Today makes on behalf of our customers with batch and order numbers and with public registry links.

Every carbon removal we offer is certified by Puro.earth, who issue a CO₂ Removal Certificate (CORC) for every metric ton of carbon removed, which guarantees the removal has actually happened and is counted only once.

Remove Carbon Today buys these CORCs. And every time we have sold a full ton, we retire one CORC on behalf of our customers and send them a link to the retirement record - all within one month of purchase.

On behalf of our customers, we retired two CORCs (CO₂ Removal Certificates) that represent two metric tons of carbon dioxide physically removed from the atmosphere and durably stored as biochar for over 100 years, as certified by Puro.earth.

28th November, 2025 - First ton of carbon removal retired

We reached the first full ton of carbon removal with our early access customers during November, and made the first CORC retirement from Truecoco in the Puro.earth public registry. The customers have received the link to confirm the completion of their immediate and permanent carbon removal.
